Lights All Askew in the Heavens

It would be an understatement to say that I'm excited about my burgeoning plans for the fall.

From The Arctic Circle 2012 website:
"Aboard an ice-class expedition sailing vessel," -- a traditionally rigged Tall Ship -- "artists of all disciplines, architects, scientists and educators alike will voyage on a collaborative mission into the high Arctic. The Arctic Circle 2012 takes place in the international territory of Svalbard, a mountainous Arctic archipelago just 10 degrees from the North Pole. The program provides the opportunity for artists and innovators to pursue their personal projects on board while exploring collaborations with the expedition's fellow participants."

I've been selected from amongst this year's applicants. Now all that's left to do is raise the travel funds, and buy some hard-core boots.
