Here are the early stages of two of the three(-or-four) pieces I'm doing for the show(s) in AU. They're about 8"x10" apiece and star my friends Yoshi and Blake, accompanied by a few (other) species with which Australians have complicated relationships. (You can click to see a larger version if you're so inclined.)
Normally I don't do grisaille--in fact, I don't believe I've ever done it properly--so this will be a learning experience. Will have to remember to be patient as I brush on glaze after glaze.
